I got to Twitter via &lt;A HREF="http://www.firendfeed.com" rel="nofollow"&gt;FriendFeed&lt;/A&gt;(post about that coming soon), which I find absolutely addicting. In some ways it can help productivity and in others it kills it as I get absorbed in all the great posts by people there. FriendFeed basically aggregates your life and your friends. When I first started using Twitter, I was a little sceptical. It seemed nothing more than a futile distraction.
